PURPOSE:To reduce the cost by giving the back tension to a tape roll of the supply side without using any tension applying motor. CONSTITUTION:For a video tape recorder in which a high-speed travelling of tape is secured with a rotary contact between a large-diameter capstan 1 and a pair of tape rolls 2 and 3, a pair of brake levers 14 and 15 touch at one side the shafts 16 and 17 implanted to the support stands 8 and 9 pierced through and supported by a guide rail 10 along with th stands 8 and 9 of the rolls 2 and 3. The springs 11 are stretched to the other end of the shafts 16 and 17 each. |
