<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of transmitting signals by suppressing the occurrence of reflection caused by the mismatch of impedance, and by reducing the attenuation of a low-pass frequency component. <P>SOLUTION: A first conductor portion 3 connected to a coaxial cable 2, a second conductor 4 connected to the first conductor 3, and an electrode 5 having an electrode area larger than a cross-sectional area of the first conductor 3 and provided at the end of the second conductor 4 have coaxial structures. In the electrode 5, signals are transmitted by electrostatic coupling with an electrode 7 facing the electrode 5 and having the same size as that of the electrode 5. The second conductor 4 is formed into a tapered shape which is gradually expanded in diameter as a second inner conductor 4a and second outer conductor 4b become closer to the electrode 5 side along the transmitting direction of the signals, and characteristic impedance is set to a predetermined value at each position of the tapered shape, thereby suppressing the occurrence of the reflection and reducing the attenuation of the low-pass frequency component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
