摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to correctly carry out noise suppression according to a noise model, for example, when applying to an electronic still camera, and carrying out noise suppression based on the noise model after correcting gradation for an image processing device and an image processing method.

SOLUTION: The noise suppression processing is executed by correcting a parameter ε2 for noise suppression obtained from the noise model by a gradation correction coefficient C1 which corrects gradation of image data D4.
