PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform the maintenance of a water separation device which is provided with a color-coded gauge having an easily-recognizable color different from that of fuel, and can easily distinct the boundary between water and fuel. SOLUTION: The water separation device (4) used for removing moisture in the fuel is provided in the middle of the oil-feed passage (3) from a fuel tank (1) to an engine (2), and gauge signs (8a, 8b and 8c) are displayed on the surface of a transparent container in the up-and-down direction. The transparent container is the lower equipment (4b) of the water separation device (4), and is used for storing water by making use of a difference in specific gravity. The gauge (9) which floats to the water surface is provided in the transparent container, and is provided with easily-recognizable color by separated by a color which is different from that of the fuel.
