FIELD: physics, measurements. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurements and testing materials for wear in radial pairs of friction. Proposed device comprises a base for a pair of friction to be mounted in cantilever on two supports, a holder to lock external member of aforesaid pair, a loading unit representing an axially moving rod. The said rod free end is articulated with the loading element, while its other end is linked with a friction pair self-alignment assembly. Note that the latter represents a semicircular clamp embracing the said holder. The clamp center is rigidly linked up with the rod arranged above the friction pair under test. The diametrically-opposite sides of aforesaid holder feature cylindrical ledges, while the clamp opposite sides feature cylindrical grooves with their surface resting upon the holder cylindrical ledges for the clamp to revolve free relative to aforesaid cylindrical ledges. ^ EFFECT: higher reliability and reproducibility of test results. ^ 3 dwg |
