<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mix-up of tickets at an automatic ticket gate for exit in a two-latch station. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic ticket gate for exit, which is installed in a two-latch station where a transfer requires an exit from one line followed by an entry into another line has a first control mode in which when a first ticket allowing alightment at the two-latch station and allowing further boarding beyond the two-latch station at the same fare is input into an inlet of a body of the automatic ticket gate, a shutter of the inlet is closed until the first ticket is removed or collected into the body, a second control mode in which when the first ticket or a second ticket allowing further boarding than the first ticket is input, the inlet shutter is closed until the ticket is removed or collected, a third control mode in which when the first ticket or the second ticket is input, the inlet shutter is kept open, and selection setting means for selecting and setting one from the three control modes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
