Pressure release container, e.g. for peroxide materials, with a spout opening (2), a neck (3) along the periphery of the spout opening, and a venting cover (5). The venting cover comprises a body plate (6) to cover the spout opening, the body plate having a vent opening (7) and having a flange (9) with fastening means, e.g. a screw thread (4), to cooperate with corresponding fastening means on the outer face of the neck. The vent opening is covered by a gas permeable sheet (11) fixed between the fastening means of the neck and the flange. The vent opening can be provided with a pop-off cap (8). |
