A hybrid vehicle 20 includes an engine 22, motors MG1 and MG2 configured to input and output power, a power distribution integration mechanism 40, and a transmission 60. The power distribution integration mechanism 40 has a sun gear 41 connected with the motor MG1, a carrier 45 connected with the motor MG2, and a ring gear 42 connected with the engine 22. The transmission 60 includes a first speed change mechanism and a second speed change mechanism. The first speed change mechanism has a first speed gear train 61a, 61b and a third speed gear train 63a, 63b arranged to connect the carrier 45 of the power distribution integration mechanism 40 with a driveshaft 67. The second speed change mechanism has a parallel shaft-type gear train 64a, 64b that is not used alone to set the speed ratio. |
