Method and system for managing communication

The method involves collecting parameters relative to communications established with mobile terminals (Ter01, Ter02, Ter03), to connection failure, and to occupation of ports (APN1, APN2, APN3) of a gateway (GGSN1) i.e. general packet radio servicesupport node type gateway, between a radio frequency communication network and a high speed communication network (WEB1). The collected parameters are processed to regulate a saturation indicator. The indicator is tested from a transmission capacity control of a port dedicated to general public offer type access, among the ports. An independent claim is also included for a communication system comprising mobile terminals.
