PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration restraining structure capable of providing the sufficient vibration restraining effect, by setting a resonance frequency of a vibration damping object constant, even if the resonance frequency of the vibration damping object is made different or mass of a rigid body installed on the vibration damping object is changed. SOLUTION: This vibration restraining structure is provided by installing a base mass 4 of higher rigidity than an elastic body 3 on the vibration damping object 1, by installing the elastic body 3 on the vibration damping object 1 of generating vibration, and is characterized by installing a plurality of additional masses 5 of higher rigidity than the elastic body 3 on the base mass 4 by using a joining part 6 installable by fastening.
