PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KVM switch and a KVM system that can provide a user with a multi-monitor environment by one unit. SOLUTION: The KVM switch 1 is connected between a computer and peripheral equipment such as a mouse, a keyboard, a monitor or the like. In the KVM switch 1, a video terminal 104-N inputs a plurality of video signals, and a signal conversion-data generation section 115 adds the identification information of the respective corresponding video signals to the plurality of video signals, and transmits the video data to which the identification information is added to a PC 11 serving as a remote terminal via a network 10.
