The steering housing is provided with a flexible end stop (8), which comprises a damping element (11) and a contact element (12). The damping element is arranged radially outside the trajectory of a locating surface (10). The contact element is formed as a metal ring. The damping element is made of an elastic material, particularly an elastomer or rubber.
