<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting trace amounts of matter with accuracy higher than that of a conventional electrolytic apparatus by a diamond electrode in the case of analyses through the use of an electrolytic apparatus using a diamond electrode. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for detecting components of matter to be measured in a sample solution by performing electrolysis by an electrolytic device provided for a channel for the sample solution, the electrolytic device comprises: a working electrode in which an electrically conductive diamond coating is formed in at least one surface of an electrode plate of a conductive material; a counter electrode made of a conductive material opposed to the surface of the diamond coating of the working electrode at an interval of 0.05-1.0 mm; and a reference electrode having a tip opposed to the working electrode at an interval of 0.05-1.0 mm. An electrolytic current of 0.1 μA or greater per concentration of 1 μM of the matter to be measured is generated to measure the electrolytic current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
