<p>A method for distributing the device number in a stacking system includes: when the device leaves the stacking system, the device number of the device is preserved; when the device is joined the stacking system, the preserved device number is used. By using the above method for distributing the device number in a stacking system, the rationalisation and reliability for distributing the device number are improved, and the device number could indicate the priority information and so on. It could be controlled by a person, so the controllability is improved. The enough device numbers are preserved, so it is applied to extend the stacking systemwell. And it has preserving performance, the device number consistency could be maintained and the information stability of the stacking system could be ensured when the stacking device is oscillating. Thus the reliability and stability of the stacking system are improved greatly, then the management of the stacking system is easier, and the controllability is higher.</p> |
