PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer that is useful as one constituent component of an active energy-curable coating agent composition, etc., and especially has excellent inorganic pigment dispersion function and compatibility with another resin. SOLUTION: The urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer has a structure obtained by reacting a compound having both of one isocyanate group and a radical polymerizable double bond in one molecule with a sulfonated group-containing polyol. The sulfonate group containing polyol is N,N-dihydroxy ethyl aminoethane sodium sulfonate, a condensation reaction product of 5-sodium sulfo isophthalic acid and a diol compound comprising aliphatic diols and/or alicyclic diols in a molar ratio of 1:2 and a one in which the sodium cations are replaced by alkali metal cations or organic cations. The urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer has, on average, one or more radical polymerizable double bonds and sulfonate groups per one molecule of each oligomer and number average molecular weight of≤5,000.
