PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: as the number of disks to be mounted increases, power consumption of a storage device increases. SOLUTION: A computer system includes a computer for operating as a DB server and a storage device including a plurality of disk devices for storing data, in which at least one of the plurality of disk devices stores data of a DB schema written by the computer. The computer system further includes a management part. The management part specifies the DB schema to be accessed on the basis of a received query, transmits to the storage device instructions to copy at least a part of data of the specified DB schema from the disk device to a second memory, and transmits to the storage device instructions to control the number of rotation of the disk device where the data of the specified DB schema are stored.
