[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There are included a rectifying part that includes a three-phase rectifier circuit for full-wave rectifying or half-wave rectifying a three-phase AC to output a rectified voltage; a battery group that consists of a plurality of series connected batteries outputting a voltage that is equal to or less than the lower limit value of an output voltage of the rectifying part; and DC/DC converters that perform both step-up and step-down of a DC voltage, perform only step-up of a DC voltage or perform only step-down of a DC voltage. It is arranged that the output voltages of the battery group be applied to a voltage output terminal of the rectifying part via the respective ones of rectifying elements that are series connected in a forward direction relative to the voltage polarity of the battery group.
