PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing a broad shape-holding sheet. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the broad shape-holding sheet formed of an oriented polyolefin resin sheet, the sheet is bent at 180°and 90°and released after being kept for 1 min, side ends of the shape-holding sheet whose bending return angleθwhen 5 min has passed after being released is 20°or smaller in either case are made to abut on each other, and the abutted parts are fused. An adhesive sheet formed of a polyolefin resin whose melting point is lower than that of the oriented polyolefin resin preferably overlies at least one side of the oriented polyolefin resin sheet.
