摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent-tube recovering method and its apparatus which can safely recover a fluorescent tube, loaded on a liquid-crystal display device, without breaking it. SOLUTION: The recovering method of the fluorescent-tube loaded on the liquid crystal display device, consists of a step of separating the liquid-crystal display device into a liquid-crystal panel unit and a back light unit, a step of separating the fluorescent tube from the back light unit, and a step of receiving the separated fluorescent-tube in a receiving vessel. A fluorescent-tube separation apparatus removes the fluorescent-tube from the back light unit by pressing a second holding part from the side of a back light case body to release the second holding part from the back light case body in the recovering method, and a contact surface with the second holding parts has a flat-plate like pressing plate.
