<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottom depressing device for a synthetic resin bottle which can surely depress an inverted portion without deteriorating the appearance of the bottle by preventing wrinkles generated on the bottom peripheral edge accompanying the pushing up of the inverted portion when the inverted portion of the bottle bottom is inverted portioned and dented. <P>SOLUTION: In the synthetic resin bottle 4, the conical inverted portion 6 which protrudes outward from a body 9 is provided at a part of the bottom 5. This bottom depressing device 1 depresses the inverted portion 6 inward from the body 9 by pushing up and overturning the inverted portion 6 along the axis x of the body 9. The bottom depressing device 1 includes a first abutment portion 18, an annular second abutment portion 20, and a non-contact portion 23. The first abutment portion 18 abuts on the center 14 of the inverted portion 6 from the outside of the inverted portion 6. The annular second abutment portion 20 brought into annular abutment on the whole periphery of the depressed inverted portion 6 from the outside. The non-contact portion 23 between the first abutment portion 18 and the second abutment portion 20 does not come into contact with the inverted portion 6 when the inverted portion 6 abuts on the first abutment portion 18 and the second abutment portion 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
