PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving device capable of readily recognizing the channel of digital broadcasting which corresponds to the analog broadcasting channel, and which can be readily shifted to digital broadcasting. SOLUTION: This television 1 receives analog broadcasting and digital broadcasting from a corresponding broadcast station by selecting a channel. During selecting a channel of analog broadcasting, the television 1 receives a sound signal, a video signal and caption information from the broadcast station. The television 1 acquires a channel of digital broadcasting which broadcasts the same, as the currently received program of analog broadcasting from the received caption information. The television 1 associates the currently received channel of analog broadcasting with the acquired channel of digital broadcasting to store them. In addition, the television 1 refers to a correspondence relation between the stored channels of analog broadcasting and digital broadcasting by an operation input from a user and generates and displays an OSD signal so as to make the correspondence relation recognized.
