PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit and a manufacturing method for the unit that reduce the wiring resistances of divided wirings and improves the display quality. SOLUTION: A source signal line Y1 is divided into a crossing portion 160 and a main portion 170, at a position of an intersection with a gate wiring X1 and a current supply line Y2. The crossing portion 160 is formed into a layer which is identical to a gate electrode, for example, and the main portion 170 is formed in a layer which is identical a source/drain electrode, a gate wiring X1 and the current supply line Y2 with a gate insulator interposed between them. The crossing portion 160 is formed as a stacking structure of a first layer 161, made of low resistance metal, such as, Al and a second layer 162 made of high melting point metal, such as Mo, which is material having a melting point higher than the first layer 161. The first layer 161 and the second layer 162 are formed continuously so that they are brought into direct contact with one another, without a surface natural oxide film, to reduce the resistance value of the crossing portion 160.
