<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure for optical cable restoration operation and an optical cable restoration operation method which makes a wide range of restoration operation unnecessary even when an obstacle such as damage occurs in an optical cable. <P>SOLUTION: A closure main body 11 is attached to an optical cable C4 in which the obstacle occurs while storing coated optical fibers C5 whose both end parts are opened and unconnected in the closure main body 11, and coated optical fibers C4e which are the object to be restored in the optical cable C4 are connected to each other via the unconnected coated optical fiber C5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
