PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing member capable of preventing it from adhering to adjoining members, when a fixing device is used over a long term, thereby preventing the nip pressure distribution from changing, and reducing the occurrence of fixing failures, image quality unevenness, wrinkles on a recording material, or the like. SOLUTION: The pressing member 64 for pressing a fixing belt 62 of the fixing device 60 is provided with a support plate 64b, on which through-holes are formed in the thickness direction, and a rubber layer 64a laminated on the surface of the support plate 64b, on which through-holes are formed, wherein the through-holes have diameters of 0.1-3 mm, and are formed within the range of 1-60% of the surface of the support plate 64b, where the rubber layer 64a is laminated.
