PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the control of X-ray irradiation based on the result of detection of the angle between X-ray irradiated from an X-ray source and an X-ray image photographing part during X-ray illumination. SOLUTION: The X-ray equipment includes an X-ray aperture controller to control the X-ray aperture form, an X-ray irradiation part to irradiate a subject with X rays according to the X-ray aperture form, an X-ray image photographing part to obtain an X-ray image by receiving the irradiated X-ray, a verticality judgment part to determine whether the direction of X-ray irradiation from the X-ray irradiation part is perpendicular to the X-ray image photographing part surface to receive the X ray based on comparison of the X-ray aperture form with an X-ray image, and an irradiation controller to control X-ray irradiation by the X-ray irradiation part based on the results of such determination by the verticality judgment part.
