COAGULATED LATEX PARTICLES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

<p>It is intended to provide a novel granulation method capable of inhibiting secondary aggregation under a mild temperature condition without lowering an original quality of a polymer itself and recovering target coagulated latex particles containing extremely few coarse particles, and coagulated latex particles excellent in blocking resistance. For achieving the above objects, a method for producing coagulated latex particles of the invention comprises forming a mixed latex of polymer latex droplets and hard polymer latex droplets in a gas phase containing these droplets, and producing coagulated latex particles from this mixed latex, and coagulated latex particles of the invention comprises polymer particles which have a particle size of from 20 to 400 µm and an average sphericity of 0.5 or more and whose surface is covered with hard polymer primary particles which have a particle size of from 50 to 300 nm and an average sphericity of 0.97 or more at an average thickness of from 50 to 600 nm.</p>
