<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display capable of restraining generation of warps in the device as a whole, even if liquid crystal cell of a plastic substrate is adapted. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display comprises a liquid crystal cell 1 of a substrate made of a plastic material, a front side polarizing plate 2 provided on the front side of the liquid crystal cell 1, a rear side polarizing plate 3 provided on the rear side of the liquid crystal cell 1, and a protection plate 4 provided on the further front side of the front side polarizing plate 2. The liquid crystal display is provided with a warp-preventing member 5 for restraining warpage, due to the difference in the linear expansion coefficient between the protection plate 4 and the front-side polarizing plate 2 on the further rear side of the rear-side polarizing plate 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
