The invention relates to a block panel 10a and comprises an orthogonal outer plate 11a integrally formed with an orthogonal inner plate 12a. The two plates 11a to 12a being staggered from each other; at least one stem 14a is integrally formed at the back of the inner plate 12a with its top portion higher than the top edge of the inner plate 12a and at least one piece of wire mesh 13a is integrally cast at a level below the top edge of the inner plate 12a. The block panel may be a double block panel (10e figure 5a) in which two single panels are preferably integrally formed. The stem 14a may be disposed substantially at one extreme vertical edge or at the middle of each single panel forming the inner plate 12a. The block panel 10a can assume a straight or slanting orientation. In a straight embodiment, the outer plate 11a and the inner plate 12a are disposed substantially at right angles to the at least one rectangular stem 14a. A later embodiment relates to a retaining wall formed from tiers of block panels. |
