The present invention relates to a provision of information for managing reproduction of video data on a digital storage medium (10), comprising a provision of an indicator for indicating whether or not a set of additional information exists in a stream for the digital storage medium, the additional information being describing the video data, and a provision of a linking information for associating the set of additional information with the video data. The indicator hereby includes one of a first indicator value indicating that the set of additional information associated with the video data does not exist in the stream for the digital storage medium and a second indicator value indicating that the set of additional information associated with the video data exists in the stream for the digital storage medium. The set of additional information hereby includes additional information having one of a plurality of predetermined formats.
