A support frame 2 for a sliding door 3 comprising upper and lower support members 4 5, and a side panel 8 attachable so as to extend between said upper and lower support members 4 5, wherein the side panel 8 comprises two panel portions 35 36 that slide relative to each other and overlap to enable the distance between the upper and lower support members 4 5 to be altered during installation of the support frame 2. The panel portions 35 36 may have corrugations in them such that when the portions overlap the corrugations interlock to prevent lateral movement. The corrugations may have a plurality of tenons and mortises. The support frame forms a pocket for sliding door to enter when opened. |
