PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for curing which require no power source for heating an electron source, no high-voltage power source or no radiophylaxis countermeasures, and also enable low-cost curing regardless of types of hardening compositions. SOLUTION: A coating (12) for a hardening composition is hardened by at least one of the three following types of charged particles as electrons emitted from a sheet electron source (6) by using the sheet electron source (6) which emits electrons into a gas under normal pressure by a voltage of 100 or lower at normal temperature, cations generated through the collision between the electrons and gaseous molecules and anions generated through the adhesion of the electrons to the gaseous molecules.
