The invention relates to the surgical methods for treatment of oral cavity, in particular to the method for treatment of lower jaw fractures. The application of splint on a lower jaw is carried out above the line of its fracture; the jaw fragments are removed from the hooking by splint and elastic control-rods; the elastic control-rods are threaded on the splint loops from the side of fragment, which contact with teeth-antagonists, in a vertical plane and on the side, where the same contact is absent - in slanting direction; the position of fragments is corrected, converting of tractive efforts in a vertical plane; the fractures of lower jaw are compressed by the splint, directing the effort of elastic control-rods toward a resilient element, and at the achievement of natural occlusion between the tubers of teeth-antagonists the tractive efforts are converted in a vertical plane and keep the direction till the complete consolidation of fracture. |
