METHOD FOR SELECTING HEIFERS FOR COMPLETING BREEDING STOCK OF HERDS OF UKRAINIAN BLACK-SPOTTED DAIRY BREED

摘要

A method for selecting heifers for completing breeding stock of herds of the Ukrainian Black-Spotted Dairy breed relates to animal husbandry, in particular to rearing farm animals, namely breeding of cattle of the Ukrainian Black-Spotted Dairy breed while consolidating thereof. The proposed method was used in breeding and commercial herds of farms of different forms of ownership which rear the Ukrainian Black-Spotted Dairy breed to provide the high level of milk productivity in cows on the basis of taking into account the reaction norm of genotype thereof.
