PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recessed corner boundary member usable for plate-shaped building members with various thicknesses, also usable for plate-shaped members having large irregularities on the front surface, and having excellent finish attractiveness, a recessed corner structure in which the recessed corner boundary member is used, and a method of constructing a recessed corner using the recessed corner boundary member. SOLUTION: Rear plate pieces 21, 22 are placed on the front surfaces of a vertical furring strips 4, 4, respectively. The recessed corner boundary member 20 is secured to the vertical furring strips 4, 4. One-sided hat joiners 5, 5 are so disposed that the flat plate parts 5a are overlapped with the rear plate pieces 21, 22, and a U-shaped part 5b is brought into contact with vertically installed pieces 23, 24. Next, the plate-shaped building members 11, 12 are sequentially attached with a building metal fixture 6 from the lower stage side. Then, a sealant 7 is applied between the wooden end surface and the erected pieces 23, 24 of the plate-like building members 11, 12, respectively. Next, masking tapes 31, 32 are peeled off.
