The air vent has a cylindrical body (11) mounted axially and rotatably in a case (1). The body has a lateral wall defined by vanes (12) extending parallel to their longitudinal axis. The vanes are arranged symmetrically with respect to a predetermined diametral plane of the body and have progressively varying inclinations. The longitudinal median planes of the two extreme vanes form respective angles of 0 and 90 degrees with the plane.
