The method involves attaching an ultrasonic tool (20) with an operating surface (30) on a green block (10), where operating surface has multiple openings. Vibration is generated in the ultrasonic tool by supplying mechanical oscillation energy, particularly by an ultrasonic oscillation head. The vibrated ultrasonic tool is moved by the green block, such that green bodies are isolated from the green block by multiple openings. An independent claim is included for a device for isolating ceramic green bodies, particularly green bodies of piezo stacks.
