PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space display device requiring no large space for using it, inexpensive, simple in structure, excellent in portability, and having a communication function in order to solve problems in a conventional device such as a fixed lighting board, a rotary lighting board, and a guide light. SOLUTION: The space display device has a simple structure wherein illumination/extinction of an LED array structure section is program-controlled by a controller to draw, by making use of an afterimage effect, letters or images in a virtual space formed by an LED array when the device is moved in the direction perpendicular to the array. Thus, the space display device is inexpensive and does not require a large space for using it, and it is excellent in portability since it can be driven by batteries.
