PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a drop in the strength of the tooth part, in a fiber reinforced gear resin with a fiber-reinforced material constituted by knitting and having a tooth part formed by cutting work. SOLUTION: In the gear 11 of fiber-reinforced resin, a resin part 13 is formed at the periphery of a core metal 12, and at the periphery of the resin part 13, a fiber-reinforced resin part 14 is formed and tooth parts 15 are formed. The width W of the addendum of each tooth part 15 is formed smaller than one stitch distance in the stitch course direction of the knitting. In one transverse row 20b of stitches constituting the knitting, each tooth part 15 has a pair of intersections of one loop with another two loops crossing it, that is, one of a part A or a part B in the figure. The fiber-reinforced material of the fiber-reinforced resin part 14 is formed annularly by winding the knitting shaped in a band spirally on the gear 11 in its axial direction.
