PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader capable of reading a plurality of documents such as a business card, in which images are described in front and rear, at once, and integrally storing or displaying the images in front and rear of the document, in which the images are described in front and rear, by associating the images in front and rear of the document with each other. SOLUTION: The image reader 100 includes: an image reading means 101 for reading images described in the plurality of originals in block to form the whole image data; an individual front image data formation means 102 which includes multicrop scan function for forming pieces of independent individual image data by each original from the whole image data, and performs processing based on the multicrop scan function; an individual rear image data formation means 103: and a front and rear image data association means 104.
