Provided is a fuel cell system which can appropriately perform power distribution. The fuel cell system (100) includes: a fuel cell (40) which generates electricity by an electro-chemical reaction between a fuel gas and an oxidizing gas; a motor (61) which is driven by receiving power and can generate a regenerative power; an accumulation unit (20) which can charge a generation power of the fuel cell (40) and the regenerative power of the motor (61) can discharge a charge power to the motor (61); an auxiliary device (50) used for operation of at least the fuel cell (40); and a control unit (10) which controls power distribution. During a normal operation, the control unit (10) decides a power distribution by using a generation instruction value based on a requested electricity generation. On the other hand, during a high-potential avoiding control which suppresses increase of the voltage of the fuel cell (40) above a predetermined high-voltage avoiding voltage threshold value which is lower than an open voltage of the fuel cell (40), the control unit (10) decides a power distribution by using an actual generation value of the fuel cell (40) instead of the generation instruction value. |
