摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control apparatus of a vehicle capable of accurately estimating engine torque while cruising by a fixed transmission gear ratio mode. <P>SOLUTION: The drive control apparatus of the vehicle has an engagement mechanism having a rotation element to be rotated by torque of an internal combustion engine and a fixed element to be meshed with the rotation element, torque giving means for giving torque to the rotation element, and first transmission controlling means for receiving a reaction force of the torque of the internal combustion engine by meshing the engagement mechanism. Torque estimation controlling means detects phase variation in a rotation direction between the rotation element and the fixed element and estimates the torque of the internal combustion engine based on this phase variation and the torque of the torque giving means by performing control of the torque to be given to the rotation element from the torque giving means under execution of the control by the first transmission controlling means.
