PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing an optical device, which shortens a manufacture time. SOLUTION: An imaging device 30 constituting the manufacturing apparatus is equipped with respectively four color light imaging sections 30R, 30G, 30B provided for each color light and are respectively disposed on a plane approximately orthogonal to the optical axis of image light in correspondence to the four corner positions of an image forming region of a rectangular shape in an optical modulation device. The color light imaging sections 30R, 30G, 30B are equipped with imaging elements, and light transmission filters which are disposed on the luminous flux incident side of the imaging elements and transmit the corresponding color light of the image light. Each light transmission filter has the transmission regions which transmit the color light by each of the corresponding color light and are independent without interfering with each other.
