<p>The hydraulic system safety shut off valve includes a velocity fuse connected to a surge chamber by a connecting port with the outlet of the velocity fuse connecting to the inlet of the surge chamber via the connecting port. The surge chamber accumulates hydraulic fluid which in turn reduces surges in pressure acting on the velocity fuse. When placed immediately downstream of a hydraulic pressure supply line and before the operational control valves in the hydraulic system, the hydraulic system safety shut off valve can sense critical pressure changes and close off the supply of hydraulic fluid to the system.</p> |
