<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, in which a railroad vehicular structure is insulated against an electric current, the resistance between two wheel tires is stable over time, and a possibility of failure due to fracture, wear and contamination of a friction member is low. <P>SOLUTION: The system is installed in the railroad vehicular of the type that includes at least one axle 1 rotatable and having a transmission shaft 6 rotatably and rigidly joined to two wheels 2,4 each having tire 10. The system also includes an electric current source for supplying an electric current to a friction assembly. The friction assembly is an independent unit which is electrically connected to the tires 10 of the two wheels 2,4 and to a cable assembly 32 with a cable part 42 extended inside of the transmission shaft 6 between the two wheels 2,4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
