A system for transaction based history collection via mobile communication devices, the system comprising receiving means to receive data/content, sending means to send data/content to the central server, transaction enabling means to facilitate the transaction, recording means to record the transaction history. Another exemplary embodiment relates to a method for transaction based history collection via mobile communication devices, the method comprising the steps of opening the application with enabling means, browsing the catalogue through the menu of the application, spending interactive time for a desired transaction, recording browsing pattern of the time so spent with all the relevant information, forwarding the browsing pattern to the central server by Smart-IB, storing the transaction based history collection in the central server for further retrieval.
