<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vein display apparatus permitting easy recognition of the location of a vein. <P>SOLUTION: The vein display apparatus 10a includes an armrest 14 to rest an arm 12 of a donor; a near-infrared LED 38 for applying near-infrared rays to the arm 12 rested on the armrest 14; a near-infrared camera 36 for continuously photographing the position where the near-infrared rays are applied; a monitor 20 for continuously displaying the images captured by the near-infrared camera 36; an arm band 22 to be attached to the arm 12; an air pump 30 for pressurizing the arm band 22; a shadow image determining part 50 for discriminating a vain 40 from the image by inputting the image; and a pressure regulating part 52 for pressurizing the arm band 22 with the air pump 30 based on the result of discrimination by the shadow image determining part 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
