PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser radar apparatus that allows detection of the periphery of the apparatus and also allows three-dimensional detection. SOLUTION: This laser radar apparatus 1 includes a laser diode 10 for generating a laser beam, a photodiode 20 for detecting reflected light of the laser beam that has been reflected by a detecting object when the laser beam is generated from the laser diode 10, a deflecting section 41 constituted turnably about a predetermined center axis 42a, a turn deflecting mechanism 40 for deflecting the laser beam toward a space with the deflecting means 41 and deflecting the reflected light toward the photodiode 20, and a motor 50 for rotating and driving the rotation deflecting mechanism 40. The laser radar apparatus further comprises a rocking mirror 31 for changing the direction of the laser beam from the deflecting means 41 with respect to the direction of the center axis 42a by relatively changing the incidence direction of the laser beam to the deflecting section 41, and a controlling means for controlling the rocking mirror 31.
