PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the temperature of a cell block in an unmeasured position. SOLUTION: Voltage of each cell block, charge current flowing through a battery pack 1, the temperature of the cell block in a temperature measuring position, etc. are measured, and determination is made whether an update condition of internal resistance of each cell is satisfied or not based on measured results. When the update condition of the internal resistance is satisfied, internal resistance of each cell block is calculated based on charge current and voltage of each cell block. A heating value in each cell block is calculated based on internal resistance and charge current, and each difference between heating value in each cell block and that in a cell block in a temperature measuring position is calculated. Temperature in a temperature unmeasured position is calculated based on: temperature of the cell block in the temperature measuring position; the difference between the heating values; and a thermal factor corresponding to each cell block.
