The invention relates to the partial and even complete replacement of LAS by MES in washing or cleaning agents, without loss of primary and secondary washing effectiveness, by adding polyester-based soil-release polymer. Perspectives are thereby disclosed regarding the replacement of tensides based on petrochemicals with tensides based on fatty chemicals, without the consumer needing to accept loss of performance in textile washing. This allows a further step on the path of sustainable economic activity in the area of washing and cleaning agents. The polyester-based soil-release polymer in washing or cleaning agents that contain ester sulphonates is used to reduce the graying of textiles in textile washing.
