PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a belt from being distorted when the belt is twisted for use. SOLUTION: A flat belt 10 consists of a belt body 11 formed of rubber or the like and a knitted fabric 12 laminated on the belt body 11. While a course of the knitted fabric 12 is provided along a longitudinal direction L, a wale is inclined from a width direction D. The flat belt 10 is endlessly formed while being bent to the inner peripheral side by a minute amount along a line extending in an inclining direction of the wale, thereby being twisted around a longitudinal axis X.
